CASES
Performance wise, it makes no difference which case a person chooses. The difference between
cases are the physical appearance, the power supply, and size of the case for upgradability. Cases come in a variety of colors and sizes
depending on what a person wants. They come in solid colors such as red, green, black, blue, and the plain grey.
Cases can also be totally transparent or have a window in the side panel to view all of the components of the computer while
they are at work. Recently, case lighting has become a big phase. A person can buy neon tube lights, fan lights, and cables
that glow in the dark to make a fun gaming machine.
The power supply plays a big role as to what size processor it can run as well as how many components you can have
in your computer. A typical computer today, up to 2.4Ghz, can run fine off of a 300 watt power supply. When a person wants
to put in a second hard drive, a high end graphics card, and have lights on inside the case, they need a power supply rated
at 350 or 400 watts.
The size of the case is the biggest factor because you will be the person who puts all the components into the computer
and the person who upgrades it so you will want to make this process as easy as possible. The bigger the case, the more
room you will have for maneuvering parts into and out of your computer. Yes, a smaller case is less of an eyesore, but it
will provide you with frustration when trying to install the parts.
